Nick Name: There are so many nicknames that I use... But I think you can call me Fringe. Yeah, Fringe is good.

Steam Account: UnreliableFringe (I translated it from Polish, and it is supposed to mean "A fringe (hair) that you can't rely on". Yes, I know how stupid it sounds. That's the point! http://steamcommunity.com/id/Cillian94/ (If you want to contact me there, just send me an invite)
TaleWorlds Forum User Name (if available): I don't have an account there.

Age: 19 (foreeeeever young, I want to be, foreeever young...)

Location/Country: Poland

What can you tell us about yourself: And what would you like to know about me? I'm a student from a small city in Poland. A young adult, with many hobbies (technology, archery, volleyball, law and more), who is in constant search of his own place on Earth, who wants to achieve his dreams and have fun, also when it comes to a virtual world. I bought Mount&Blade around 2008 and played it until I've got my hands on Warband. I'm not able to precisely state the amount of hours I've put into this game. On Steam it shows about 140+, but I assure you, it's a lot more. Before I had a Steam account, I owned a cd-key bought directly through TaleWorlds. I don't have as much time as I used to, so I ditched other games in favor of Warband. I play mostly on siege, duel and death-match servers. When it comes to classes, I'm pretty much versatile and can play anything. I'm also one of the appointed admin on Camelot_DM server. If you need any specific information, let me know.

Why do you want to join Cheshire Cats: I've been looking for a Warband clan since... I can't really tell. But now I think that I've found the perfect one. It's a chance for me to practice my English and to be a part of a nice community. You seem like a bunch of guys that I would love to play Warband with, from time to time, so here I am, writing this application.

Are you in line with our clan policy and agree to our rules: Yes, yes I am.

Hey, welcome to our forums and good luck!
First of all I'd like to know a bit more about your relation with the Camelot_DM server and more specifically with its server admin Merlinz.
I'm not sure about the procedure you have to pass to become an admin on that server, but I guess that getting along with Merlinz is an important requirement. The thing is that the aforementioned individual is well known in all the community for his bad behaviour (admin abuse, racism, insulting, etc.). I'd like to ask you if you're aware of that behaviour. In the case your answer is "yes", then:
Do you agree with it?
Do you, on the other hand, despise him?
or, do you just "play" your admin role normally without caring about what's going on with Merlinz?

Thank you for that warm welcome!

Now, to answer your questions... Unfortunately, I am aware of Merlinz's behavior and his – to put it lightly – not so good reputation. However, you must understand that he is also the owner of the Camelot_DM server, so he is basically like a boss to me. I can either accept that fact or have one less server to play on. Now, accepting him as a person and approving his moral standards are entirely different things, at least for me. I do not agree with what he's doing and I do not justify his demeanor.

Do I despise him? No. I don't have time and nor do I have a strong desire to do so. Why? Because my direct supervisor is not Merlinz, but Caprisun. He's one of the "good guys" and I've became an admin as a result of him putting his trust in me. He did that probably because he saw that I'm a little more just and honest than most people. I treat my responsibilities seriously. When I wanted to become an admin, I was motivated by helping him in creating healthier environment on the server and dealing with problems in a way that differs from Merlinz's. Did I lose my inspiration along the way? Definitely not.

Now, you must also know that being a member of Camelot group on Steam does not equal clan membership, mainly because this group is not a clan per se. That's why I'm trying to give you a satisfying answer and that's why I hope you will consider my application :)

Alright, fair enough. I'll add you on steam (probably some more members will do the same) so we can talk and set up a "warband meeting" XD
This is the IP adress of our TS server: 94.23.250.165:6231

Oh, is TS really necessary? Because frankly, I don't use that kind of communication and I don't even have any microphone. It's not likely that this will change in the future. I'm not a fan of TS/Skype/Ventrilo/Mumble/etc. Will that be a big problem?

On the other hand, you can catch me on Steam and we can talk there, but I cannot give you specific hours or something. I need to study for my exams, so the time I spend on Warband and other Internet activities will be limited until the end of May.

Hello Fringe!
Your application is getting discussed by the members. It might take some time.

Well, a mic is not mandatory and nobody gets 'forced' to join ts. But ofc ts is used for many clan events. And it's very important for playing matches where the players need to listen to the commander or to warn their team mates when a cav comes from behind.

Application rejected!

The members discussed this application for a long time. We tried to contact you and some members wanted to give you a chance but you weren't available. And in context of several issues with your camelot membership we decided to reject the application.
