Cheshirecats.eu provides a platform for sharing clan activity of the Cheshire Cats Clan. In doing so, cheshirecats.eu is the framework in which the users registered on the forum (cheshirecats.eu/forum) can create articles and messages and exchange views. The legal responsibility for the respective contributions lies at the creating users.
Personal data (usually referred to just as "data" below) will only be processed by us to the extent necessary and for the purpose of providing a functional and user-friendly website, including its contents, the forum and the services offered there.

Management of blacklists
We reserve the right to keep blacklists of e-mail addresses, domains or IP addresses if the corresponding address was used as the basis for improper use of cheshirecats.eu or a house ban was granted. The basis of storage is also Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. We use YouTube in its advanced privacy mode to show you videos. The legal basis is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in improving the quality of our website and forum. According to YouTube, the advanced privacy mode means that the data specified below will only be transmitted to the YouTube server if you actually start a video.
Without this mode, a connection to the YouTube server in the USA will be established as soon as you access any of our webpages on which a YouTube video is embedded.
This connection is required in order to be able to display the respective video on our website within your browser. YouTube will record and process at a minimum your IP address, the date and time the video was displayed, as well as the website you visited. In addition, a connection to the DoubleClick advertising network of Google is established.

When adding messages to the shoutbox on cheshirecats.eu/forum the IP address from which the message was created is stored together with a username (pseudonym) on our cheshirecats iShoutbox account at ishoutbox.com. The collection of data is done in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) GDPR in order to prevent misuse of the services offered by the shoutbox on cheshirecats.eu/forum.

II. Information according to the General Data Protection Regulation
Purpose of the processing of personal data and their legal basis
The personal data in the registration on cheshirecats.eu (see above) are stored and processed with your consent for the purpose of providing a functional and user-friendly website and forum (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a) and b) GDPR). The personal data in the use of cheshirecats.eu as well as the blacklists (see above) are stored in order to prevent misuse of the services offered on cheshirecats.eu and at the same time give third parties the opportunity to take action against any possible legal violations (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) GDPR).
Disclosure of data
The data not intended for public provision will not be disclosed to third parties. Exceptions to this rule include disclosure to law enforcement agencies or the judiciary, prosecution of legitimate legal interests or legal obligations.
